It is time for me to get the art studio lighting right. Do you have any studio lighting tips? I have good East facing (southern hemisphere) windows and pale cream walls and furniture to give the studio tho best daytime, natural lighting. Daylight lighting helps you chose the most natural colours for your art and craft work, and tends to give the artist/crafter less eyestrain.
I've bought the first of these crafters lights and have it fitted with a daylight globe. These lamps all have a swivel head for positioning over your work. One design has a magnifying glass, great for portraiture details.
The first one, that I've bought is called the OttLite Natural Daylight Marietta Floor Lamp, reading light.
I also have a benchtop version of the last design. You can purchase daylight globes to fit some of your existing studio lamps if you want to try the difference that a daylight globe makes for creating artwork. I'm not affiliated in any way with the studio supplies I recommend. Comments are closed.
