Goulburn River, today viewed from the Pedestrian Bridge, Opposite Aquamoves, Shepparton, was looking beautiful in the spring sunshine. Lower than the minor flood level it reached earlier this week, it was above the lower bank level on one side but this section of Shepparton appears higher above the water level than areas further downstream at Mooroopna.
The river downstream was I thought prettier as there is no wattle in flower along this section of the river.
Next week if the area is not flooded I will show some pictures of the Goulburn River from the Shepparton, Kiama area, not far from Mooroopna.
This area is particularly beautiful and partly flooded at the moment. Wattles in full bloom are drooping into the water. Just, gorgeous! Definitely worth a special trip with the camera
