Summer is a wonderful time to weave along Mount Buffalo's excellent walking tracks, spotting kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, gliders, falcons and delicate wildflowers.
When enjoying the serenity of nature consider others and use silent or low noise level means of power. Portable solar panels is the 'way to go.'
Reg and I have hiked all over Mt Buffalo's walking trains together and I hiked the mountain with my sister as a child when we hiked though the bush by moonlight so we could be perched on a summit to watch the sun rise. Wonderful memories. On our return as the day heated up we cooled ourselves in one of the many pristine mountain stream pools then returned to our camp beside the beautiful lake. If you have not been to Mt Buffalo recently it is worth a visit.
