I fell in love with outback Central Queensland many years ago, and I returned year-after-year, making beautiful Springsure my base, to paint, in both oils and watercolours, and also to start work on my Stolen Years Series of Novels.

I painted the watercolour that I've recently listed on Fine Art America there.

The brush I'm showing you here is da Vinci Watercolour Series 418 Petit Gris Pur Wash/Mop Pure Russian Blue Squirrel , Size 8 Brush. a fabulous watercolour brush. You can't go wrong with this one.

Also, Caran D'ache Museum Aquarelle Watercolour pencils. 72 colours in wooden box. https://amzn.to/2y728Ax or Caran D'ache Museum Aquarelle Watercolour pencils. Intro Set 12 colours are THE BEST pencils.

This week I began painting a watercolour of a paddock filled with flowering sunflowers. I've set it to music, scripted it, and invite you to enjoy the experience.

Please excuse the typo for watercolor and Australian in the video. That was a lot of words for my older eyes to proofread, and I missed a couple of typos while editing the video. These things are always obvious after I publish. What do I teach, "Pat yourself on the back for what you do achieve. The only way to never make a mistake is to never have a go."
