The empty swing. My pen and wash artwork to show the effect of Covid-19 on Australian playgrounds for most of this year. I'm happy that most stayed away from public gatherings and thus helped control the spread of the pandemic here. Do what's needed in your area to Stay Safe. Happy Creativity Everyone. My art, art prints and art gifts are available here, and the art tutorials here. From my travel diary:Perfect Bliss, Perfect Climate, here at Flying Fish Point. I know I drove a long way to escape the cold winter 'down south', but not so far that I cannot sense through the words, of my family and friends that winter as arrived, full on to the south of the country. In contrast, here I am laying back, on a lounge in my sunfrock debating when to go for a swim and a romp on the sand and wondering what the sand will be like, firm for running, or soft so I can laugh at myself as I attempt to do a burpee, exercise again. The scene above is from ‘The Coconuts’ taken at sunrise, that is a great fishing spot very close to where we usually fish at Flying Fish Point. Reg and I had a wonderful day today. I found out that Innisfail QLD is just a little country town at heart, today when I headed out with the 12wbt week 1 shopping list to Coles and found it shut. lol never knew Coles supermarkets shut on Sundays. Where else in the world could that happen?. OK I am finding out from my friends it happens in a few places. I have a lot of travel photos and stories to blog over the coming week, eager to get to and share them with you here.
