THE LILAC FAIRY and Blue Moon Rose Watercolour Time Lapse Painting Demonstration Video.
The strong and loving leader of the fairy realm and fairy godmother and protector to Princess Aurora in story and ballet "The Sleeping Beauty or The Sleeping Princess. She is about to bestow beauty, in both an inner and outer sense, on Aurora when she is forced to use her gift to counteract Carabosse's curse. Aurora turns out beautiful anyway, and the Lilac Fairy is regarded as the queen of the fairies. In ballet, her movements are choreographed to be imperial, flowing and gracious. She actively works to make sure that Aurora's curse will be broken by Prince Désiré.
Fantasy art isn't "me."
What is me is, "When life gives you lemons make lemonade—or, at least try to make something of it."
The fairy allowed me to complete a work within my physical stamina ability, on that day, by plonking a digital image on it, and calling it "done." As I was unable to complete this work as fine art, I turned it into a decorative painting.

ABOUT RYN SHELL Artist.
Ryn Shell, formerly of the Internationally acclaimed Buninyong Gallery will encourage, inspire, and show you how to capture the splendour of nature through your art.
~Ryn Shell is the winner of numerous prestigious professional awards from portraiture, landscape and still life-floral studies in the mediums of oils, watercolour, pastels, ink markers, drawing, plus pottery, sculpture, and literature.
Ryn Shell is an accomplished art tutor having shared the tips on the mastery of fine art on tours around Australia, the US and in featured articles in the Australia Artist Magazine, and on Channel 9/WIN Television Network. She has represented Australia at the International Artists’ Festival.
Born into a creative family of skilled artists, Ryn Shell's painting skill has developed during seven-decades of classical training from world renown artists, many of whom trained with brilliant master artists including Ryn's artist hero, Australian tonal impressionist, Fredric McCubbin.
As with another of her third-generation teachers, romantic realist Sir Hans Hysen, Ryn mastered and excelled to an award-winning standard in the multi-mediums of oil, watercolours, pastels, pencils and pen and ink. Additional to this, she trained in classical life drawing and figure sculpture under the great Laurie Pendlebury, a Wynn Landscape Prize winner and Archibald portrait prize finalist.
Ryn never made the mistake of having a fool for a teacher, she has gone out of her way to train with, and take master classes with the best.
Ryn's flower studies and portraiture were influenced as a child by visits to the home of by the great Violet McInnes and seven times Archibald prize winner William (Billy) McInnes, and training under Alan Martin and Pat Moran. She trained in watercolour with David Taylor, Robert Wade, and Ernie Trembath, amongst many other noted artists.
