My original painting of Ryn's Apricot Roses is finished on the first day of spring 2017, (here) and I love it. Yes, it is okay to love your work. :-). It would look gorgeous on my walls—if I had room for more art.
I'll need to photograph it in daylight when there is less reflection off the gloss finish.
It is painted with Windsor and Newton Artist's Acrylic (the paint set cost me $700. just for the basic colours, they are archival quality and should last a century without fading. It is painted on quality artist's medium heavy weight canvas with a wide outer margin to allow for stretching of the canvas, or it could be glued to a board by your framer. It would suit an antiqued finish frame. It does not require glass over the painting. The appearance is of an oil painting.
The painting size is small, 6.1/2" x 8" and I can ship it anywhere at the buyer's expense, rolled in a tube. My small paintings like this take me approximately sixteen hours, or two days work from the planning and drawing stage through to completion—not forgetting the sixty years of experience to be able to complete them in that time.
Price is "Direct from Artist," with no gallery commissions involved, and is professionally set, based on size and complexity of work and materials used. Enquiries welcome: https://ryn-shell.pixels.com/contact.html
