Josephine Falls is inland from Innisfail, Oueensland, Australia. It is a beautiful spot that's easy to access. It's a popular swimming spot for some backpackers who ignore the warning signs not to swim here. As a result, lives have been lost. Commonsense isn't always common.
Just downstream from Josephine Falls is Golden Hole. It is a lovely waterhole with crystal clear water that reflect the lush rainforest surrounds. There wasn't a swimmer in sight. It appears that people do take more notice of the beware of crocodiles warning sign.
Back from that lovely bushwalk to Josephine Falls. One of the easy access falls, 1600 return walk on well made path, beautiful. Indigo stayed in the car and Reg and I took turns to do the walk.
Back at the beachside camp naw. Reg is fishing again, as I write. I'll join him shortly. Vegetables and fresh caiught and cooked fish for dinner tonight
