THE LILAC FAIRY and Blue Moon Rose Watercolour Time Lapse Painting Demonstration Video.

The strong and loving leader of the fairy realm and fairy godmother and protector to Princess Aurora in story and ballet "The Sleeping Beauty or The Sleeping Princess. She is about to bestow beauty, in both an inner and outer sense, on Aurora when she is forced to use her gift to counteract Carabosse's curse. Aurora turns out beautiful anyway, and the Lilac Fairy is regarded as the queen of the fairies. In ballet, her movements are choreographed to be imperial, flowing and gracious. She actively works to make sure that Aurora's curse will be broken by Prince Désiré.

Fantasy art isn't "me."

What is me is, "When life gives you lemons make lemonade—or, at least try to make something of it."

The fairy allowed me to complete a work within my physical stamina ability, on that day, by plonking a digital image on it, and calling it "done." As I was unable to complete this work as fine art, I turned it into a decorative painting.

Happy creativity,
Ryn Shell.

Thank you, Brenda. :-) Yes, I love these colours too. I've always enjoyed working with a limited pallet of harmonious colour, and with the emphasis on the light and shadows on the subject. That's also why I enjoy your artwork.
Cheers, Ryn.
