I, Tess the therapy puppy, had a wonderful morning. I went to Daylesford Lake, with Robyn from the kitchen staff, played ball on the bowling lawn at the aged care home with the physiotherapist, and napped while hoomumma, Ryn, wrote the murderer reveal scene reaching 9,564 words by day 5 #NaNoWriMo21
K-Lytics is just about the best market analyst for authors. I have an Elite lifetime membership. I've had it and never used it for years, other than following along and learning. I wrote what I loved to write, and I did not write to the market. Authors interested in earning a living writing are huge fans of K-Lytics.
If you are putting all the work into creating a novel it's good to be able to choose something you would both love to write, plus aim for what readers are clamoring to read that isn't also in an over-saturated market.
As you are already writing clean and wholesome romance you are writing to a popular sub-genre of romance. it isn't as hot a nice as it was a few years ago when K-Lytics first reported it as a hot niche, as many authors flocked to write for this genre, but it still isn't an over-saturated sub-genre.
K-Lytics assist you by pinpointing where the demand exceeds the supply if that exists, or where the supply is exceeding the demand. If you write in a genre it's worth getting the annual genre report from K-Lytics. If you write multi-genres it is worth having one of the subscription packages unless you aren't concerned about market research before writing.
I do not receive a commission for recommending K-Lytics.
