I'd choose flow formula acrylics for illustrative work, similar to that seen on these cards.
Compact painting kit, for travel, when space and weight, matters.
Making a Stay-Wet Acrylic Painting Palette
I made my own wet palette with a shallow tight lidded container,
1/ a rack goes in the box first 2/ a sponge goes on top of the rack 3/strength paper towel wraps goes around the rack and sponge and the sponge and base of box is dampened so that the top paper towel stays damp but not flooded in water. The paint applied to this paper will stay damp while working. Place the lid on the box will keep the paint usable for days. Storing Your Travel Kit of Acrylic Paints.

Open Mystery
Ruth Randall's novel "A Judgement in Stone," opens with this line.
"Eunice Parchman killed the Coverdale family because she could not read or write." In open mystery novel, the reader knows who the murderer is, from the beginning; the mystery is why, and how, they did it, and if they will be caught. In The Stolen Years series of novels, the reader has a view of who commits many of the crimes. There is plenty of suspense while no one else suspects who the murderer is. The Stolen Years Series
From an Australian bestselling author comes mystery thriller of determination to find one's place in a world that men are threatening to tear apart.
