Working out is hard, being overweight is hard...which hard would you rather struggle with?
I found that during my morning motivations, search, on the Spark People forum this morning.

The sun is out, it’s more like spring today that winter. It’s also my seventy-first birthday and all I want is to celebrate life. I gave my husband a pleasant surprise by washing the dishes. He usually does that job. I’ve been having one or two active sessions throughout the day, still recovering from an illness in 2016. Today I’ll achieve three. I plan to work toward maintaining that.
I chose predominately fun activities that I love, activities that took me outdoors. Reg helped. We cleaned up the garden and rejoiced that daffodils were coming into bloom. My painting of Duck's Day Out and the photos I took of a bee a in Eucalyptus flowers for my print on demand decor, suits my cheerful outdoorsy mood today.
There are a few hard to do jobs that I’ll employ a fitter person to do. There is no point in risking injury. Build up te exercise gradually. I’ve been eight months getting to where I could work as hard as I was able to do today. I’ve been consistently doing a few easy gardening jobs in the sunshine on every dry day throughout winter. I’ve made sure to stop before I hurt myself.
If you are fit enough, you can do these simple exercises (which can all be found in the SparkPeople Fitness Resource Center) at home or the gym. They mimic the motions and movements typically made during gardening. Try doing them as a circuit, going from one exercise to the next with little or no rest. Work up to 2 circuits, 3 times a week.

1. One arm rows with Swiss Ball
2. Rear delt raises w/ resistance band
3. Lumbar extension (can be performed on all fours also)
4. Body weight squats
